The office of the Sangamon County
Clerk of the Court is the official record keeper for the 7th
Judicial Circuit Court.
The Clerk of the Court is responsible
for a variety of duties such as, either attend or designate a sworn
deputy clerk to attend all sessions of court as required by law:
preserve all the files and papers thereof, make, keep and preserve
complete records of all the proceedings and determinations.
The Clerk’s office maintains for the
public a wide variety of forms which may be used in filing all the
below listed case types. These are free to the public.
